Disgruntled England supporters have claimed that the team are cursed by ITV after a lacklustre performance against Scotland on Friday night and statistics over the years suggest they have a point!
The most hyped game of Euro 2020 so far saw thousands of rival fans descend on London, some with a ticket to Wembley, others just there for the atmosphere, while millions of others watched from their sofas or in a pub or beer garden.
But after all the anticipation, England v Scotland did not deliver, with Gareth Southgate's men particularly poor and showing a distinct lack of attacking flair.

Unlike their first Euro 2020 group game against Croatia, which aired on the BBC on Sunday afternoon, England 's clash with Scotland was broadcast live on ITV, with pundits Ian Wright, Graham Souness and Roy Keane making their opinions very clear in the uninspiring 90 minutes.
And, while former Manchester United hardman Keane came in for some criticism for being 'a misery,' others blamed ITV, pointing to the fact that England's results are far better when they are on the BBC.
A number of disappointed fans took to Twitter with statistics to back up their claims.
One tweeted: "LISTEN, I'm no conspiracy theorist but when England play on BBC v ITV, ya'll should take a note," before posting results dating back to the World Cup in 2006 and how England performed on BBC and ITV.
Summarising their point, the same fan added: "LOOK! Out of 27 tournament games since 2006 (pre the start of Euro 2020); England playing on BBC are: 8 wins, 3 losses & 0 draws (including extra time/penalises) England playing on ITV are: 3 wins, 6 losses & 7 draws"
Mentioning the apparent curse, a second posted: "can you try and get all England World Cup and Euro games on BBC only? The ITV England curse is a real thing!" and a third posted: "The ITV Curse is actually real. Can't we just put all of England's games on the BBC?"
The bad news for England fans is, if there is indeed a curse, you might want to get everything crossed already for Tuesday night as England v Czech Republic is also on ITV.
