The England Cricket Team have been spotted enjoying their final day win against New Zealand - in a popular Nottingham takeaway. The side put on a clinic on the fifth day (June 14) of the second test and a crowd who had been allowed into Trent Bridge for free marvelled at an incredible win - with batsman Jonny Bairstow putting the Kiwi attack to the sword in incredible style.
Obviously such a gruelling win (and quite a few drinks after) would leave any team famished, and this England side were no different having been recorded in Nottingham's popular takeaway Mega Munch last night. In the video, which was posted to TikTok by Mega Munch owner Akmal Hussein, the stars can be seen at the counter awaiting their kebabs and their eyes just a little glazed.
Mr Hussein was delighted to have the 'heroes' in his shop, saying: "It was just a very happy time, the whole team were so happy. It was great to have them in, you know, those guys are heroes.
"They did a great job and it was a very special day!"
