Engineers are currently working to restore energy supplies to Kilwinning following a powercut.
Scottish Power Energy Networks say they are aware of the issue in the KA13 area and are now working to restore energy supplies.
A spokesperson said: We recommend to protect your equipment, and where it is safe to do so, you should switch off and unplug all electrical appliances including your boiler. Leave a light switched on so that you'll know when the power is restored."
