Three men have been arrested after a man was stabbed to death in north London.

Police were called at 4.45am on Friday to reports of four men fighting in Lytton Avenue in Enfield and a man being put into a vehicle.

Fifteen minutes later, officers at North Middlesex Hospital became aware of a man, aged in his 30s, who had been brought in suffering a single stab wound.

Despite the efforts of doctors, the victim was pronounced dead, Metropolitan Police said.

Police are working to inform his next of kin and a post-mortem examination will be arranged in due course.

The three men were arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in custody, police said.

It comes hours after a murder investigation was launched in Kilburn on Thursday night.

Police found the victim, aged in his 30s, collapsed next to the side entrance of a McDonald’s. He was taken to a central London hospital and pronounced dead half an hour later.
