James Harden is the NBA’s best scorer. You can’t refute it. He’s been the league’s scoring champion for three years in a row now if you include this season.
But watching him do all that scoring is a chore.
A hefty portion of Harden’s game is dribbling the shot clock down to six seconds and either taking a step-back 3 or flopping his way to the rim.
That’s productive! He’s also very good at it, to his credit. But people absolutely HATE watching it. And Enes Kanter is one of those people. He roasted Harden’s playing style in a TikTok video on a whiteboard.
First, he showed us how Giannis Antetokounmpo scores by drawing a straight line to the rim. (By the way, if you want to get Harden riled up bringing up Giannis is definitely the way to do it.)
Then, he showed us how Harden scores…by scribbling a bunch of lines all over the board.
Ouch. Kanter better hope he doesn’t have to defend Harden anytime soon. He’s going in the blender.
