When it rains, it pours. Although the rain in Los Angeles has finally subsided, the gloomy reality of their season remains underneath the sunshine and Enes Kanter is here to remind them.
Before the Lakers season fell apart, losing six of their last eight games, they had another loss on the waiver wire. Just before the All-Star break, Enes Kanter agreed to join the Portland Trail Blazers over the Lakers and a few other options.
Kanter was asked on Thursday by Colin Cowherd why he chose Portland and said he did so because he wanted to be ‘drama-free.’ That is something that the Lakers, and LeBron teams, typically are not.

While Kanter did take a shot at the Lakers and express that he didn’t want to be a part of their organization, he did make sure to congratulate LeBron James for his amazing accomplishment.
