Energy Institute and process community unite for Clean Growth Conference

A Clean Growth Conference comes to the Humber later this month as beacon training and member organisation Catch joins forces with the Energy Institute.

The event will focus on the low carbon strategy for the region, feature case studies and look at health and safety in the offshore wind sector.

It comes as the region looks to lead the world and bring the first zero carbon cluster to the Humber - turning an area that for years has been a serial emitter around in spectacular style.

It takes place at Catch, Kiln Lane Industrial Estate, Stallingborough, on September 25.

David Talbot, chief executive of Catch and chair of the Humber branch of the Energy Institute will host, introducing the rapidly evolving theme, with Richard Kendall from Humber Local Enterprise Partnership explaining the fit with the area’s industrial strategy.

Chartwell Consulting and Nordic Heat will also contribute on smart city work and how being good for the planet can be food for business.

Beate Hildenbrand of the Energy Institute will cover work done at a national level on the burgeoning offshore wind sector, where the Humber is now taking a world-leading role.
