Energie Fit4Less Santry gym 'closed without notice' leaving 100s of Dublin members in limbo

Hundreds of gym bunnies were left disappointed on Tuesday after the discovery that their regular fitness venue was closed for the day without notice.

Energie Fit4Less in Santry - which is normally open from 6:30am until 10pm - is keeping its door shut for the day, leaving 100s of its members in limbo.

One gym goer told Dublin Live that the popular Dublin workout spot had "closed today without notice or any prior warning to members" with "members having only paid for yearly and monthly membership very recently".

The gym, which is situated in the Omni Shopping Centre in the area, had a notice on its door that left members puzzled as to the future of the establishment.

But, a member of security for the Shopping Centre confirmed to Dublin Live that the gym was closed just Tuesday only for "personal reasons" and that it would be open for business as normal on Wednesday.

Dublin Live has contact Fit4Less for a comment.

In June 2018, Energie Fitness in Park West closed down suddenly with immediate effect after LDM Ventures Limited, a franchise of the gym, went into liquidation with a lease not being able to be agreed.

The popular gym and swimming pool was situated in the Park West complex in Clondalkin.

At the time, Fit4less clubs in Tallaght, City West, Cork Street and Drimnagh stepped in and honoured memberships for the remainder of the month.
