A rescue puppy who is only nine months old is looking for a new home in Manchester.
Even at such a young age, the Labrador Akita cross has already found himself in the care of Dogs Trust.
Although it doesn’t have a lot of background on this loveable chap’s life to date, it is eager to find him a new and loving home.
The Denton-based rescue centre is now appealing for would-be owners to come forward and adopt him.
Like most puppies, Finn loves human interaction and playing with other dogs. He’s a friendly boy who Dogs Trust describes as ‘energetic’, so he’s looking for confident owners looking for a dog to keep them on their toes.
His new owners should also be prepared for ongoing training, although Finn loves his food so this should definitely be a great incentive.
Being less than a year old, Finn has bundles of energy so requires a secure garden to burn it off with plenty of zoomies.
He’ll also need owners who are willing to take their time settling him in, not leaving him alone for long periods straight away. This will need to be increased over time.
Although Finn loves to be out and about sniffing and exploring, he does bark at heavy traffic so something owners will need to consider when out on walks. This also means he needs a home away from busy roads.
People passing by his home can also be a problem for the young pup so his new home will need to be set back from any footpaths.
Because of his friendly nature and how much he adores other dogs, he could be rehomed with a family who already have a dog, although they would need to be very playful. If you don’t already have a dog, he'll need plenty of walks and playtime with other dogs as this is something he really enjoys.
Finn is also looking for a home with no small children.
Could you give this bouncy puppy a new and loving home? Do you have the energy and the space to adopt Finn?
