ENDORSEMENT: Robin Kelly for Congress in 2nd District Democratic primary

Since we last endorsed Robin Kelly two years ago, she has worked to lower the prices of prescription drugs, reduce gun violence and build job-creating links between community colleges and businesses.

Kelly was a leader in passing the Bipartisan Background Checks Act, which closed a loophole that allowed guns to be sold without background checks at gun shows.

We endorse Kelly. She is opposed by Marcus Lewis, a minister and former mail carrier.
