Hunter Biden has mockingly nominated US President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize, seizing on a media analysis that found the president has claimed to have ended the war with Iran on at least 38 separate occasions since fighting began earlier this year.

In a post on X, Biden wrote that no president in history had ended the same war so many times, adding sarcastically that Trump's Iran ceasefire claims represented a record no other commander-in-chief had ever matched, and that the president was "nowhere near finished ending it." He closed the post with "Thank you for your attention to this matter" , a phrase Trump frequently uses to close his own Truth Social posts.
