- Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May have formally concluded their 23-year television partnership by winding down their joint company, W Chump & Sons.
- The trio, along with producer Andy Wilman, shared the company, which closed with over £24 million on its books, resulting in each receiving approximately £6 million.
- Their collaboration began with BBC's Top Gear in 2002 and continued with Amazon's The Grand Tour, which premiered in 2016 and concluded last September after six series.
- Clarkson cited being “too old and fat” and uninterested in certain cars as reasons for ending The Grand Tour.
- Despite the end of their joint venture, all three presenters remain active in television with individual projects, such as Clarkson's Farm, James May’s Great Explorers, and Richard Hammond’s Workshop.
