Encroachment by a particular class will cause grief: Madhya Pradesh minister Usha Thakur

INDORE: Madhya Pradesh culture minister Usha Thakur on Monday said a particular class of people is encroaching land on Sanwer Road in Indore and action to remove them should be taken up on a war footing.

"We have to uproot from the grassroots, the conspiracies cooked in different places since Independence. It is my humble prayer that you should not shed tears while just watching 'Kashmir Files', but keep an eye on whether such a 'file' is being created in your areas, your streets," Thakur said at the 29th foundation day of Laghu Udyog Bharti.

Union MoS for MSME Bhanu Pratap Singh Verma and MP MSME minister Omprakash Saklecha also attended the event.

In their presence, Thakur recounted what she told a group of industrialists who had come to meet her and officials: "The encroachments being carried out by a particular class in Sanwer Road will become a cause of grief in future. Give details of the action you have taken. We stand by you. Action should be taken on a war footing. The area should be cleared of encroachments and the environment should be clean, free and fine."

Later, asked about her views on the loudspeaker controversy, she said: "Every action has an equal reaction. Several petitions have been received about noise pollution due to the use of loudspeakers. Everyone should operate within the constitutional framework and laws should be implemented uniformly."
