Law firm CMS has announced the appointment of Legal 500-listed lawyer Eric Gilligan as Of Counsel in Aberdeen.
He joins the international firm after five years at Stronachs, where he was a partner and head of its employment law team. The former Brodies partner is described in the Legal 500 as "one of the most knowledgeable employment lawyers in Scotland".
Gilligan is a specialist in a full range of employment matters including tribunal claims, HR advisory work and corporate/project support. During a 20-year career, he has worked on the energy, marine, transport, financial services and charities sectors supporting large corporate clients and SMEs.
