For the third straight month there are more people employed across Monklands than during this time last year.

And the Coatbridge, Chryston & Bellshill area saw 2161 ACCs made, which was a 1706 decrease on November 2020's figures.
Universal Credit claims continue to rise in North Lanarkshire, though, with last month's 32,634 total an increase of 381 on January's overall statistics.
Maxine Allison, Jobseekers' employer and partnership manager for North Lanarkshire, told Lanarkshire Live : "We’re focusing on working with local employers to rapidly match up their vacancies with the right jobseekers.
"Inviting employers into our job centres has resulted in successful candidates being offered positions on the spot.
"We are currently supporting the construction sector by procuring specialised training, offering successful claimants a CSCS Green card, REHIS qualification, asbestos training and road marshalling qualification as well as employability support and guaranteed job interviews for everyone who passes.”
Minister for Welfare Delivery, David Rutley MP, added: "Universal Credit continues to provide a vital safety net to millions.
"We know the best route towards prosperity is through work, which is why so much of the benefit is designed around helping people into employment.
"This includes individual tailored support from work coaches and our new Way to Work scheme, whilst working claimants continue to benefit from an extra £1000 per year on average in their pockets thanks to recent changes we made so people keep more of what they earn.”
