Leigh, of Busby Road, Clarkston, was originally charged with taking £60,000, but has now pleaded guilty to a charge involving a reduced sum.

the 45-year-old appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Friday.

Sheriff Colin Dunipace deferred sentence until next month for a criminal justice social work report.
