A woman fell to her death from Bangkok Bank's high rise headquarters on Silom Road, Bangkok, on Monday about four months after giving birth.

Her fall from the 24th floor was reported to Thung Mahamek police station about 10am.

The woman's black-clad body was found in the garden terrace on the 8th-floor of the 30-storey building.

Police identified her as Suwannapa Yindee, a 35-year-old bank employee in the salary payments office.

Police investigators said she was said to be suffering post natal depression after giving birth to a child four months ago. This could be a contributing factor.

However, more people needed to be interviewed before a finding could be made on why she fell.

The investigation was continuing.
