Ulrika Jonsson paid a gushing tribute to her daughter Martha on Friday as she fled the nest, leaving home to continue her education at university.
The television personality took to Instagram to share a montage of images taken throughout the 18-year old's life with Abba's 'Slipping Through My Fingers' ringing in the background.
Ulrika, 55, captioned the post: "And with that, she's off to Uni. My Martha Moo. It's been a bumpy ride but you going will be bumpier."
Celebrity pals and fans alike were quick to wish the pair well with Melinda Messenger writing: "Well done to both of you. Sending you love Ulrika, you did an awesome job xxx."
This Morning cook Juliet Sear added: "How beautiful lots of love xx."
An emotional follower, meanwhile, commented: "That brought a wee tear to my eye. My girls just left to go back to their second and third years respectively. It doesn’t get any easier (sorry!). Hope she has a great uni experience. Thank goodness for FaceTime! Take care of yourself and let yourself feel all the emotions, there’s plenty of them."
Another concurred: "It's heart wrenching when they fly the nest. I feel your pain . Mines got one more year and my heart still hurts . Sad old git but true . Hugs!"
And a third said: "They don’t stay children for very long. You end up looking at old pictures and wondering where the child you used to read stories to has gone. It's as if they have disappeared and have been replaced with an adult, the transition was so quick."
There could be some lonely times ahead for Ulrika after she hit out at a dating app last month after she was apparently kicked off the service during her quest for romance.
The former weather woman had her Hinge account removed for "no reason", she claimed in an angry Instagram Story post.
Ulrika shared a screenshot which said she has been banned from using Hinge for "violating our Terms of Service."
The infuriated star wrote over the screenshot: "Nice one @hinge... no reason (maybe you should spend a bit more time banning the countless catfish I've had to endure).... I await your response @hinge."
