Emotional tributes pour in for Kilmarnock woman found dead in town flat

Emotional tributes have been flooding in for a Kilmarnock woman who died in a Bonnyton flat last week.

Sharon Cunningham, 44, was found dead at a property in the town's Bailliehill Place.

Police confirmed there was no suspicious circumstances around the death.

Sharon is understood to have been the girlfriend of Marvin Baird, who appeared in TV show The Scheme.

He posted about the on his Facebook page, saying: "I lost my girlfriend Sharon Cunningham. No one knows how much I love her so please have a heart and let her rest in peace.

"Sharon I love you so much RIP sweetheart xxx love you always."

Friends of Marvin and Sharon posted tributes.

One said: "Thoughts and prayers with you at this sad time Marvin, RIP sharon."

Another added: "You keep going on the right track mate she's right behind you."

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Officers responded to reports of a concern for person in Bailliehill Place, Kilmarnock around 1.05pm on Wednesday, November 27.

“A 44-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

“There are no suspicious circumstances and a report has been submitted to the procurator fiscal.”
