Emotional moment father surprises his twin daughters by dressing up as their school’s mascot after six months apart

A father surprised his twin daughters by dressing up as their school’s dolphin mascot and revealing his identity during a basketball match.

Sargeant Anthony Pasco from the US Air Force hadn’t seen his daughters for six months and decided to show up early at their school ahead of the Christmas holidays.

His family live in North Carolina however he has been working in Texas for the past six months.

Sargeant Pasco’s daughters were taking parts in the high school’s basketball match.

He told the BBC: “I had always wanted to surprise them or come to one of their basketball games.

He dressed as the school’s mascot, a dolphin, before taking off the mascot’s head to reveal his identity.

Video footage shows the heartwarming moment the twins cry with joy at seeing their father.

One of the girls told the BBC: “I was speechless. I thought we were going to see him tomorrow.”

“Best Christmas present ever.”
