Emotional Michelle Visage gushes Giovanni is her 'rock' as she's booted off Strictly

Michelle Visage paid an emotional tribute to her professional dance parter Giovanni Pernice as she was kicked off Strictly Come Dancing this evening.

The Drag Race judge, 51, gushed that Giovanni had been her "rock" and that she would miss seeing him every day.

Michelle and Giovanni formed a close bond on the hit dancing show after rehearsing and dancing together around the clock.

But tonight judges decided it was time for the pair to leave the competition following Saturday's performance as they danced to Madonna's 1990 hit - Vogue.

An emotional Michelle said: "Obviously I couldn't have done it without him. He has been so amazing, so transformative.

"Just my rock and my best friend throughout this entire competition.

"He could take it as much as he could dish it, and I needed somebody like that. I'm going to miss seeing him every day. I would never have wanted to do this with anyone else."

While Giovanni responded: "You are wonderful. We laugh, we cry, we fight and we argue and we've done everything but I've loved every single second.

"I think you are inspirational and we did this dance and wanted to send a message.
