Emotional Golden Retriever melts hearts after seeing puppies for the first time

A Golden Retriever appears overwhelmed with emotion after seeing puppies for the very first time in an adorable video.

Bailey has melted many hearts on YouTube after the clip on his introduction to the tiny stray dogs was uploaded to the video sharing website.

The pet is seen excitedly waiting beside a bed as his owner has a special delivery for him.

A basket with the five cute pups is then carried in - but at first Bailey isn't sure what's going on.

Looking a little confused by the smaller creatures and what to do next, he quickly learns how to approach them.

Before long he starts to give them a good sniff as they begin to investigate and it takes no time at all for him to realise they need looking after.

Wagging their tails, the puppies are very content - and the dog is clearly already in love.

The video has been viewed more than 18 million times on his YouTube channel This is Bailey since it was uploaded last month.

Bailey's owners explained the puppies were found wandering a road without their mum, so they decided to take them in while they find them a new home.

The messages flooded in after the cute clip went viral.

“He's overwhelmed with emotion, very touching,” one user wrote.

Another commented: “Look how fast their tails wag when they get close to the retriever. It's so cute.”

A third added: “It’s adorable how quickly he learned that he had to be gentle and not jump up or he’ll scare them.”

It may have been the first time he met puppies - but he has already come face-to-face with a kitten.

A clip of the stunned dog's reaction to seeing his bed stolen by the tiny grey creature racked up 22 million views.

Last year, Bailey left his thousands of followers in tears after “adopting” bunnies who ended up thinking he was their “mum”.

Owner Taras believes the bunnies treat him like a parent “because he is very kind to them and he loves them very much”.

“The bunnies always share their food with Bailey and he even steals hay from them,” the owner continued.
