Ant McPartlin has revealed that he and co-star Declan Donnelly "struggle" with wanting to be liked by everyone.
The sought-after Geordie presenter, 44, was joined by best pal Dec as they discussed their weaknesses, romances and life lessons with Stylist magazine.
When quizzed whether it's more important to be liked or respected, Dec said: "If one was to trump the other then I'd like to be liked," as Ant disagreed: "See, I'd say respect. We struggle so much with wanting everybody to like us, we weaken ourselves at times."
It's been a tough few years for Ant, who's faced several hardships after his divorce from ex wife of 11 years, Lisa Armstrong, and turning to rehab for alcohol and drug addiction following his drink-drive crash.
The star took a break from the limelight and hosting duties after he was arrested for the crash in March 2018.
Fast-forward to 2019, and Ant was back to hosting ITV's I'm A Celebrity with his best pal by his side.
Asked what lesson in life had been the hardest to learn, Ant told the publication: "That it's OK to ask for help. I think men especially struggle with that a lot."
Dec chimed in: "Mine would be, 'Don't spoil the present by worrying too much about the future.'"
They finished off their chat by discussing the loves of their lives.
The Geordie duo were asked who or what is your greatest love.
Ant gushed over his family, his girlfriend Anne-Marie Corbett as well as her two daughters, whilst jokingly adding in his favourite football team - Newcastle United.
Meanwhile Dec was unable to pick one, pointing out that his "loves" are all equal. He mentioned his family, wife Ali Astall, his daughter Isla and their dog Rocky.
