Emmy Awards 2019: Kim Kardashian, Jodie Comer and Phoebe Waller-Bridge lead the stars on red carpet

The great and the good of the TV and movie world made a beeline for The Emmy Awards 2019 on Sunday night.

Kim Kardashian wowed in a sleek black dress with a chain necklace with the star one of the last to arrive.

Jameela Jamil earlier kicked off the glamour as all the stars showed off their most stylish looks to date on the red carpet being hosted at the Microsoft Theater, in Los Angeles.

The outspoken Brit, 33, looked amazing in a cold shoulder turquoise dress with an impressive trail following behind her high heels.

Jameela made a bold fashion statement as she oozed confidence with an eye-catching red lip. She complemented her outfit with a handbag in the same shade as her dress.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge almost showed too much on her entrance - the Fleabag star admitting she was concerned her boobs would pop out.

Joining them on the red carpet, Vera Farmiga looked striking in a red lace dress featuring dramatic puff sleeves and a demure high-neck.

The Conjuring star, 46, is up for the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited Series or Movie for her role in When They See Us.

She was supported by her American musician husband Renn Hawkes for her big night at the glittering awards ceremony.

Game Of Thrones star Peter Dinklage looked sharp when he hit the red carpet ahead of his co-stars for the evening's event - as did co-star Gwendoline Christie, looking almost Roman as hit the red carpet.

Jodie Comer dazzled as the flash bulbs went off - the Killing Eve star shone in LA as in a sleep white dress.

Elsewhere on the red carpet, Sharon Osbourne and her daughter Kelly were stylishly in sync in their black dresses as they joined a whole galaxy of stars.

The former X Factor judge looked fantastic in a black dress with a sparkling gem encrusted neckline which drew eyes to her figure.

Brittany Snow cut a fairytale figure in a strapless blue ballgown which had a tight bodice and billowed out from the waistline.

The actress ensured she made an impression on the carpet when she twirled around to show off the most of her stunning figure.

Kristin Cavallari was stunning in a sunshine yellow dress which had a split soaring up to her thigh to show off her long legs.

Game Of Thrones star Kit Harington will go head-to-head against Better Call Saul's Bob Odenkirk for the Lead Actor in a Drama title.

Kit made his first made his return to spotlight since seeking help at a wellness facility in Connecticut.

Meanwhile, his co-star Emilia Clarke will fight off fierce competition including Killing Eve's Jodie Comer and Sandra Oh for the Lead Actress in a Drama nomination.

Former Dawson’s Creek favourite James Van Der Beek, currently starring in Pose, wore a salmon suit and oozed confidence as he came in.
