As Emmerdale fans know, Al Chapman, played by Michael Wildman, has recently invested in the Woolpack - joining cousins Marlon and Charity Dingle overseeing it.
The investment from a new source was needed after the venue suffered financial difficulties during the coronavirus pandemic.

Tonight, he will make the recommendation that the venue starts serving ready-meals rather than fresh food - as part of a series of cutbacks.
