Emmerdale viewers speechless as Liv's ashes are destroyed

Emmerdale viewers were shocked to see Liv's ashes thrown all over Vinny.

Vinny was surrounded by his family as he finally laid his late partner's ashes back to the earth. Last month, during the storm that tore through the village, Liv met an unfortunate end after a caravan impaled her against a wall, destroying vital organs.

Mandy, Chas and Paddy comforted Vinny as he said his farewells, breaking down in the process. Attempting to scatter the ashes onto the grass, an unfortunate incident with their dog, Chip, left the family silent in shock.

Chip knocked against the table, causing a domino effect that eventually threw Mandy into Vinny, knocking the ashes into the air. Though they tried to recover, Vinny was left with the remains of his partner all over his clothes and face.

The initial emotional scenes were thrown into total chaos as the family looked blankly at each other unaware of what to do next. Viewers were also taken aback as they couldn't believe what had happened.

One viewer said: "No way did that just happen to Vinny..." Another added: "nahhh #emmerdale didn’t have to do that." A third said: "Poor Liv. What next?!!"

After the initial shock wore off, Vinny had no other choice but to laugh at the situation. Mandy also let out a breath of relief as she was let off the hook for the chaos.
