Emmerdale viewers have got their thinking caps on, and are more sure than ever that they know who the mystery witness is for the hit-and-run.
Jamie Tate almost killed Moira Dingle with his car recently, before driving off and leaving her for dead.
Belle, Moira's sister-in-law, has stood by her new man Jamie despite knowing the truth about what he had done.
She's even ditched her family for him, despite a long-running feud between the Tates and the Dingles.
The only other people who know what Jamie did are his mum Kim, ex Andrea and Belle's nephew Nate, but she and Jamie bribed him to stay quiet.
This week, fans learned a mystery witness who had come forward had since withdrawn their claim - with many questioning if Jamie or Kim had got to them first.
But that said, many have been predicting the witness is someone right under Jamie's nose.
With some initially questioning if Andrea was to blame, after he left her for Belle, other viewers have now come up with an epic theory that could change everything.
Viewers are speculating that Belle might actually be plotting revenge on Jamie for what he did to Moira.
More than that though, this theory has escalated and fans are now tipping for her to be the secret witness trying to get him taken down.
It is unsure why she would go to the police given Jamie didn't give her details on the car when she asked recently, meaning she doesn't have any evidence.
But perhaps she didn't realise it would be much harder to expose his crime, leading to her retracting her statement.
Taking to Twitter, one viewer said: "I hope Belle is playing Jamie and she's the new witness."
Another agreed: "I think Belle may be the witness. She was trying to question Jamie about the car and didnt look happy when he changed the subject."
A third added: "Belle is totally pulling the wool over Jamie's eyes. She's the witness 100%."
Meanwhile, another said: "The witness has totally fallen through just like that really? Who even was it? Andrea?"
It comes ahead of a twist in the tale, with things also said to get "worse" for Belle pretty soon.
