Emmerdale viewers are convinced nurse Wendy Posner will send shockwaves through the village after she starts a secret affair with GP Liam Cavanagh but fans think their new storyline will be “boring”.
During tonight’s episode of the ITV hit soap Wendy walked in on Liam printing some paperwork at the GP surgery. Wendy was curious why she hadn’t seen him all morning and joked: “Where are you with your mystery woman?”
She later found out that he was using the work printer to print out his “salacious fantasies” and rushed straight to his house to confront him.

Wendy thought he was writing to a mystery woman but he revealed that he was actually writing a book. Things took an unexpected turn as they started bonding over the misunderstanding and Wendy even sat down to help him write.
The pair later decided to open a bottle of wine but before things could escalate Wendy decided to leave. Viewers are convinced that Wendy will cheat on Bob with Liam but insist there new storyline will be "boring".
