Emmerdale viewers have predicted a new romance for the dales.
Those watching the show tonight saw a frazzled Tracy desperately trying to arrange daughter Frankie's christening.
Baby Frankie is the daughter of Tracey and Nate, and was named after Tracy's late father who died trying to save her from a fire at the sweet factory in 2019.
As Tracy become annoyed on the phone to a goodie bag supplier, she bumped into Nate's father, Cain.
As the pair began talking, she explained everything was "one big mess" and began to offload to her daughter's grandad.
Cain explained his family would "be happy with a slice of cake" and tried to ease her worries.
Several viewers enjoyed the scene.
One wrote: "#Emmerdale Cain and Tracey! I’m calling it ….." [sic]
Another wrote: "I love Cain and Tracy scenes"
A third said: "No but how good would a Cain and Tracy affair be?"
Nate left the village last month, but he wasn't away long.
The actor who plays him, Jurell Carter, returned to our screens this evening.
Nate gushed over Tracy, telling her he didn't stop telling his mum about her, before promising to work hard to give her and Frankie "everything they deserve".
