Emmerdale viewers were able to pinpoint how far in advance the programme is filmed due to extreme weather in tonight's episode.
The village has remained relatively undisturbed in terms of physical appearance over the last few weeks apart from the odd shower here and there.
However, as tonight's programme began, Leyla was seen braving the cold with a fur coat in hand as she walked through a vicious snowstorm.

It was an unusual scene considering we're steadily making our way through the spring months in reality but it gave viewers an idea of just how far in advance the episodes are filmed.
Five weeks ago saw the UK covered in a heavy blanket of snow in a sudden and unexpected cold freeze. It appears it was then the cast of Emmerdale filmed tonight's episode with the timeline finally catching up to real-world events.
Viewers instantly picked up on fact with one fan who said: "Snowing?... In the middle of April? Tell me @emmerdale is filmed a couple of months in advance without telling me #Emmerdale is filmed a couple of months in advance."
Another added: "Goes to show this were filmed five weeks ago cos of the snow we had." While a third said: "Snow in 'April'."
The snow came fast and heavy at the start of the episode but the remainder was filmed indoors which meant viewers only managed to get a very quick glimpse of the moment in time.
