Emmerdale viewers 'living' for character's aggressive new attitude

Emmerdale viewers are revelling in Paddy's "aggressive" demeanour towards Chas.

The fallout from Chas' affair is still being felt around the village as Paddy show's no signs of forgiving his cheating ex for her actions. After an emotional confrontation at the B&B where Chas carried out her secret liaisons, Paddy said it was the final nail in their relationship's coffin.

Paddy has always been somewhat of a pushover but news of the affair has ignited a new, fiery side to him the Emmerdale residents have never really seen before.

Making the point he will no longer be anyone's doormat, Paddy has been abrupt, rude, and harsh with Chas, shutting her down in several instances and telling her directly he had no interest in conversing.

Viewers have been "living" for the character development, admitting they prefer Paddy's new cheekier attitude. One fan said: "I'm absolutely living for how passive-aggressive Paddy is being."

Another added: "Paddy going all EastEnders to Chas: "Get outta my house!" Whilst a third said: "Paddy gowaaarn tell her!"

A final commenter added: "Paddy is hilarious - I'm waiting for him to stamp his feet and go "I hate you Chas!!! HATE YOU!!!"

Chas has been trying to worm her way into discussing things with Paddy, but he shows no signs of entertaining her. After she asked for a place to stay for a while, Paddy told her to stay at a B&B, specifically the one she used to cheat on him.
