Emmerdale viewers issue 'exhausting' plea to reduce four characters' screen time

Emmerdale viewers say they have been left “exhausted” at the killer storyline, as Amy was forced to say goodbye to son Kyle.

Last night Cain was left feeling like a bad parent when he made the decision to send Kyle away to live with Amy following the murder of Al.

During tonight’s episode of the ITV hit soap, viewers saw Cain and Amy plan Kyle’s move to Belfast. But things weren’t going to plan as Kyle wanted to leave his dad and the move also caused problems with Cain and wife Moira.

After an intense moment Amy felt like they were pushing Kyle too far and decided he could stay with his dad because he had shown that he was growing up, and was capable of making his own decisions.

At first it seemed like Amy was happy with the decision but when she left she ended up breaking down outside the front door.

Viewers watching at home were not impressed with the storyline as they claimed the show is getting “exhausting”.

@CPTSDBiDisaster Tweeted: “This show is exhausting #emmerdale.” @memesEmmerdale wrote: “Absolute shite see you all tomorrow!! #Emmerdale.”

@Momrocks50 said: “Well at least Amy saw sense in the end after she had been a massive pain and caused a lot of heartache #Emmerdale.”

@Rileymscott commented: “Kyle storyline is so boring. I don’t know if he is staying or going.” @TwellyWatcher said: “#Emmerdale We’re supposed to feel sorry for Amy but I’m pretty sure that this is the exact way it was before Kyle killed Al - cause Kyle was living with Cain and Moria then too just a back to normal thing if you ask me.”

While @aaron_dingles added: “Isn't it time Amy, Cain, Kyle and Moira went on a long holiday somewhere, talk about over-exposure they're never off f***** screen #emmerdale.”
