Emmerdale viewers confused to see Suzy return from brink of death

Emmerdale viewers were taken aback to see Suzy make a full recovery after she was left for dead.

Suzy felt the brute force of an angry Callum who recently attacked her with a brick for trying to unravel his evil doings. She planned to report him to police for selling drugs in an attempt to exact revenge for stabbing Leyla's son, Jacob.

Suzy and Leyla also tried to spread rumours of Callum's actions but word soon got back to him which led to a nasty altercation on the outskirts of the village.

Callum attacked Suzy with a brick and left her for dead but in tonight's episode, she's made an unrealistically full recovery. After composing herself, she returned to the village, almost as if nothing had happened, which raised questions with viewers about where the plot will go next.

One viewer said: "Suzy! that was a quick recovery." Another added: "As if by magic... Suzy has made a miraculous recovery." While a third said: "Suzy was on death's door yesterday." A final added: "Suzy’s miraculous recovery - the Pope is now reviewing at least three other miracles that have been brought to his attention that have occurred at Hotten General and is considering making it in place of pilgrimage."

Suzy ran back to the village following the attack but told Leyla, who was held captive by Callum, to stay in the barn while she found help. During the episode, Suzy sat comfortably in the café on a computer before casually speaking to the police about the events.
