Emmerdale viewers catch 'glimpse' of Chloe's 'dangerous dad'

Emmerdale fans think they've worked out who was behind the wheel of a mystery car that followed Chloe and Kerry.

Viewers remain unsure about Chloe's past, with some now convinced they have worked out who her "dangerous dad" is.

While those who watch the ITV soap already know that Chloe's sister Gemma had passed away three years ago, they don't know the rest of Chloe's backstory amid theories about who she might be.

Fans have previously "worked out" her dad could be former Dales villain Pierce Harris, who is now in prison - as the two share the same surname.

Pierce was sent to prison in 2017 after he raped his wife, and village resident, Rhona Goskirk, while more recently he was sent back to prison for holding Vanessa Woodfield hostage, and killing Graham Foster.

It's not clear if Pierce could be Chloe's dad given there has never been mention of him and ex-wife Tess having kids.

During Tuesday's episode, viewers were treated to a glimpse of what may be her dad as a mysterious car followed herself and Kerry.

Many paused their screens in a frantic bid to see who the man was, the Mirror reports.

Viewers flocked to Twitter to discuss their theories, with one tweeting: "who was the person following them in the car omg and who is chloes dad omggg #Emmerdale."

While another commented: "Chloe’s Dad’s got eyes on her.... #Emmerdale."

A third wrote: "I’m literally on the floor trying to get a close up on Chloe’s dad! doesn’t look like Declan or Pierce! #emmerdale."

Another joked: "Looks like Mike from Breaking Bad in that shot!"

One fan asked: "Was that #Corrie’s Pat Phelan following Kerry and Chloe #Emmerdale"

Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7pm on ITV
