Emmerdale viewers call out unrealistic new role for Noah

Emmerdale viewers called out Noah Dingle's claims he was an electrician after a few weeks of prison training.

Noah has been stepping on eggshells after he was released from prison as the other villagers refused to get close to him. Trying his best not to ruffle anyone's feathers, the troubled teen has been looking for a job to keep himself out of harm's way.

He admitted "no one wants to hire an ex-con" despite his best attempts at turning over a new leaf. Noah currently works part-time in the Woolpack but said he was capable of a job as a "spark" after he trained as an electrician in prison.

His humble claim didn't go down well with fans who were quick to slam his new self-imposed qualifications. Viewers said, just because he trained as an electrician in prison, it didn't mean he had the right to call himself one.

One viewer said: "You don’t become a qualified electrician in the 6weeks you was in prison Noah."

Another added: "So Noah thinks he's an electrician after a quick course."

A third viewer said: "Good those #Emmerdale prisons. Train you to be an electrician in 4 weeks."

A final comment said: "So can you train as an electrician during a couple of months in prison?"

Noah later mentioned he wanted to be an electrician in the Woolpack but was quickly shot down after being told he was lucky to have his bar job. Mackenzie Boyd reprimanded the teen and told him to get to work instead of daydreaming about being a "spark," prompting the youngster to walk off with his head down.
