Emmerdale viewers beg 'please' over wedding hero as they're left 'gutted' by 'missing' Charity and Mack wedding moment

Emmerdale viewers have been left begging 'please' as they shared the same plea over one particular character who appeared to steal the wedding scenes from Charity Dingle and Mackenzie Boyd.

Earlier this week, Mack's sister Moira helped Charity out in arranging her wedding gift for Mack and surprised him with an A-Team van, in amongst some squabbling between the future in-laws. Making the most of their new ride, Charity and Mack got changed into some fancy dress outfits and parked up in a country lane but were soon arrested by PC Swirling.

He explained that the van had been involved in a robbery and therefore he had to arrest them and Charity was in despair as she looked around her cell on the night before her big day. But in an unusual move in the ITV soap, Swirling came to the rescue, complete with the A-Team van.

It turned out he is a huge fan and wanted to help them, after some persuasion from Moira. As Mackenzie and Charity pleaded for Cain to stall vicar Charles Anderson who was double booked, the movie-inspired van roared into view and ended up crashing into a stack of boxes outside The Woolpack.

Soon, Charity and Mack finally got to say their 'I dos' - in their A-Team fancy dress outfits. The pair tied the knot today, in front of all their family and friends, and PC Swirling who appeared emotional while sat watching the couple exchange vows. And it's fair to say Emmerdale fans were loving that Swirling saved the day and issued a demand.

@riacann tweeted: "Please give Swirling a house in the Village and proper storylines. He's earned it. For all the love he gets on here at the very least! #emmerdale." @HawthorneAcre said: "Please make PC Swirling a more regular character. I see him as a widower, and a possible partner to Bernice. #Emmerdale."

@_Pixxalt echoed: "Please say this is a hint at Swirling becoming a proper character #Emmerdale." @deadstar37 shared: "Make Swirling a more prominent character! Give him a first name! #Emmerdale." @fusedglassbysarahw added: "Please make PC Swirling a proper regular. Think Bernice and Swirling would make a lovely couple."

But later, fans felt like something was 'missing' as Charity and Mack changed into their wedding outfits and enjoyed the celebrations at The Woolpack. Taking her new husband out the back, Charity made a poignant speech where she spoke of her love for Mack, whilst he issued a similar speech in response.

But fans were left fuming by their revelations and suggested there was a "missing" scene where Charity found out about Mack's one-night-stand with Chloe Harris which led to her falling pregnant and giving birth to their son, Reuben, on the same day as the wedding. @penniless_poet tweeted: "I was hoping that Charity when she was saying this speech was foing to go "I know you're a cheating rat and Cain is waiting to take you to a barn and tie you up in a chair" #Emmerdale

@cupcakecoutur12 said: "Gutted. I always had it in the back of my mind that Charity somehow really knew and she was going to kick some ass on her wedding day. #emmerdale." @griannedoherty3 added: "Was anyone else kinda hoping Charity somehow knew this whole time & was totally gona jilt/expose Mac at the altar? Kinda like what Chas with Carl & Eve?"
