Emmerdale viewers baffled by 'unrealistic' scenes as Liv is arrested for murder

Emmerdale's Liv Flaherty was arrested in tonight's episode of the ITV soap over the murder of Ben Tucker but viewers spotted a glaring error that made the scene "unrealistic."

The troubled teen, played by actress Isobel Steel, was seen being taken into custody by the police in distressing scenes on Thursday, December, 2.

But fans couldn't believe the "over the top" measures taken by the police for the sake of "one young girl."

Liv, who has recently been battling with alcoholism, had a disagreement with Ben before he met his demise but due to being intoxicated, she couldn't remember what had happened.

In tonight's episode, the teen began to have flashbacks following Ben's body being found badly beaten.

And while viewers know Liv is innocent and the real perpetrator is in fact murderous Meena, they were concerned over the arrest scenes for and entirely different reason.

Several viewers took to social media to express their confusion.

Bobby tweeted: "#Emmerdale 3 police cars to pick up Liv?"

Tania added: "Does it really take 2 police cars and an unmarked car to arrest one wee lassie? #Emmerdale"

While Chris penned: "Two police cars in a small village to arrest one teenager!!#Emmerdale"

"What's the two Police cars for to arrest a 5 ft girl? #Emmerdale" asked Archibald.

Jillz said: "Wow 3police cars for lil liv #Emmerdale"

And Lily agreed: "Not sure that many police cars were needed to arrest tiny little Liv #Emmerdale"
