Emmerdale came under fire on Tuesday night after serial killer Meena Jutla still has not been caught and continued to hold her sister Manpreet hostage.
Since Manpreet revealed that she remembered Meena's evil past after the Woolpack explosion on Christmas day, Meena has been holding her sister hostage, tied to her bed and desperate to escape.
Last night, Meena started to drug Manpreet with Diazepam, convinced that if she does it enough, she’ll only survive the rest of the week, and she continued to give her the drug today.

During tonight's episode Rishi Sharma has made the decision to report Manpreet as missing after Meena tried to convince everyone she was on holiday in Ibiza.

As Meena was trying to get into her sister's head she was thrown off when Manpreet’s daughter rang her.
She was left wondering how to tell Ayesha, Manpreet’s daughter, that her mum was fine, without having Manpreet scream for help in the background.
Meanwhile, Jai and Rishi were worrying about Manpreet, aware of the missed calls and going ‘off the radar’ very unlike her.
With concern growing, Rishi decided he would call the police and report Manpreet as missing.
If he goes ahead with the report it leaves everyone wondering what this will mean for Meena.
However fans are still fed up of Meena’s ongoing storyline as she continues to get away with her crimes.
As expected viewers went straight to social media to vent about the recent episode.
@bradleycoombes7 Tweeted: “6 days left to live, Think we all losing will to live with this stupid Meena story.”
