Emmerdale twist as terrified Faith Dingle discovers cancer test results

Emmerdale favourite Faith Dingle has finally discovered the results of her cancer test results.

After weeks of uncertainty and fears that her cancer had returned, the truth became clear on Tuesday night.

As the mischievous great-grandmother plans to spend time with daughter Chas and great-granddaughter Sarah Sugden, Faith got a long-awaited phone call from the doctors.

Faith was asked to visit the doctor's surgery that afternoon for the results of her cancer test.

Despite asking to learn the truth over the phone, Faith was asked to get the results in person.

A terrified Faith visited the surgery and awaited the news from Dr Manpreet Sharma.

Thankfully, the results of the test showed that Faith was still in remission and was cancer-free with no sign of malignancy.

Faye broke down in tears at the good news as her relief was clear as she dried her eyes following the happy news.

However, Manpreet revealed that Faith's tests had shown something else as they wanted an explanation for her severe hip pain.

Later, Faith returned home from her appointment with Manpreet and spoke with her daughter Chas.

Faith revealed to her daughter that she had had "the all-clear" and had "dodged a bullet".

Chas was delighted at the happy news and was pleased for her mother.

However, Faith then revealed that she had been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and was now on medication for it.

She also disclosed that her mother had suffered from it too.

A tearful Faith was then told that she is loved by Chas.

Heading out to the bar, Faith is pleased to hear that Cain is planning on joining for some fun activities at the HOP and does not tell him or Sarah about her good news.

Tomorrow, Faith is determined not to ruin the fun of the day and hopes to get closer to Cain who is warming to her.

Yet the day backfired as Cain presses his mum for the truth and when he fears she’s been lying to him he kicks off.
