Emmerdale to air special double bill tonight as Mac receives mystery call

Emmerdale fans will be delighted tonight as the soap airs a special double episode.

For an hour from 8pm on ITV, viewers will be treated to a double helping of the soap after it was cancelled multiple times following the Queen's death.

Tonight, Mackenzie answers a mystery call as he demands that the person on the other end of the line leave him alone.

It comes after he decided not to tell partner Charity that he had cheated on her as he struggled in the throes of his grief following her ectopic pregnancy.
