Emmerdale confirms who stabbed Ellis next week on the ITV soap, and there’s hints viewers will make a shocking discovery.
During the soap’s Big Night Out episodes last week, Billy raced to the club in fear of his little brother’s safety after a warning from Max.
His old pal Max arrived in the Dales recently, wanting Billy to do a dodgy job for him, and when he eventually refused Max turned nasty.
While there’s been no confirmation that Max is behind the stabbing, a recent teaser saw Billy himself attacked in the club with a fight breaking out.

At the end of the episode last week, Billy was seen looking for Ellis outside the club before leaving, and the next day Ellis was in hospital after being stabbed.
Spoilers for next week reveal the truth will come out, while even teasing Billy himself could be the one who used the knife.
He had been shown carrying a weapon while at the club, and in upcoming scenes Billy is forced to tell Ellis and pal Aaron Dingle what really happened that night.
The identity of the attacker will be revealed and, as all is confirmed, Billy will be left fearing he’s lost his brother forever.
Billy appears to attempt to flee the village, but is caught on the road by the boys.
As they confront him over what happened that night, he tells them everything.
It’s then that viewers will be shown flashbacks from the night, picking up from when Billy searched for Ellis outside the club.
Fans will finally get to see what went on next, leading up to the attack on Ellis.
Emmerdale continues weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
