An Emmerdale couple aren’t expecting a happy ever after for their characters with drama on the horizon.

The pair were asked if they’d like to see their characters enjoy a happy settled life.
“Absolutely not, too boring,” Roxy answered. “It would be nice for them to have a period of joy but ultimately, no.”
Jonny answered: “(It would be) Terribly boring and we’d get four episodes a year if that happened.”

Jonny has discussed how Bernice’s forthcoming return from Australia will impact Liam.
“I think Liam is going to feel sick to his stomach when he sees Bernice again,” the actor said.
“He didn’t bet on her heading off to Australia to care for his first husband, and now he’s met Leyla, Liam’s certain that she’s the one.”
