Emmerdale star teases explosive Christmas Day confession ahead of Graham's brutal death

Emmerdale actor Andrew Scarborough has teased juicy details about next week's explosive festive episode ahead of his character Graham Foster's grisly death.

The claws are out on Christmas Day as Home Farm's festive meal turns into a disaster as Graham bursts through the door.

Graham finally discovers the results of his secret DNA test this week after going behind Kim Tate's back, resulting in the fallout next week.

Kim's estranged husband perfects the art of a gatecrashing guest as he hurtles into the dining room and makes a confession which could tear apart Jamie, Andrea, Millie and Kim's perfect family.

Opening up about the scenes, Andrew said: "It was a good, fun scene but we had some cracking one-liners and a good old-fashioned ding-dong between Kim and me.

"It was a long day [filming] but it was a fun long day, but I think we're going to be upstaged by Marlon and his daughter though, because they were very funny. He's cooking off Christmas Dinner, listening in and his reaction is priceless."

Revealing that Graham getting the DNA test back sets him "off on a course", he said: "It makes him full of emotion and as Graham is not particularly great at handling emotion and there's a lot of... spillage."

The ITV soap is set to be embroiled in a big 'whodunnit' early next year as Graham is brutally murdered.

After Graham's death, the repercussions in the village are said to be huge with the character "driving someone" to kill him.

Emmerdale producer Laura Shaw confirmed: "Graham’s murder will form part of an unmissable week of drama packed full of exciting twists and turns.

"It’s always exciting to step outside of our usual story-telling style and viewers will be on the edge of their seats as some of our villagers have their lives irrevocably changed forever.

"Graham has been a huge character at the heart of some of our biggest storylines so it felt only fitting that he left us with an enormous, explosive bang, to kick off what promises to be a massive year of drama for Emmerdale."
