Emmerdale actress Samantha Giles has revealed she will be wearing a wig in her role as Bernice Blackstock, when she returns to the ITV soap.
The actress will be back on screens next week, almost two years after leaving the show.
Samantha took some time away from the show to finish her first book, and has continued to write during lockdown.
Now, she's ready to return but has come back at a time where filming has completely changed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
From social distancing to cast members doing their own hair and makeup, it's all different to when she was last on set.
Speaking to The Mirror, she revealed she decided to wear a wig for her role because her natural hair can be difficult to style.
She explained: "I’ve got very very thick, wiry, frizzy hair! I can’t do it myself. I just can’t do it!
"Obviously Bernice is a hairdresser so she is not going to be seen looking anything less than having her coiffed look, if you like!
"So, that has all been really hard!"
Things have changed a fair bit in the village too since Bernice was last there.
Her daughter Gabby Thomas is now pregnant with Jamie Tate's baby, and is living at Home Farm with his mother Kim.
Her sister Nicola King's marriage to Jimmy has also hit the rocks.
Then there's her ex Liam Cavanagh moving on with Leyla Harding, with the pair even planning a wedding.
It's said Bernice will cause all kinds of drama when she makes her big return, so viewers should stay tuned!
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
