Emmerdale actress Roxy Shahidi has been part of the ITV soap since 2008, playing the role of Leyla Cavanagh.
The Manchester-born actress took a break from the soap between 2011 and 2013 but has otherwise been an ever present bar one short stint away from the show in 2018 on maternity leave.
Her character Leyla has won over viewers and quickly become a fan favourite due to her dramatic storylines.

The village resident was recently targeted by villain Meena Jutla and almost had to wave goodbye to the hit soap when serial killer Meena shot her.

Whos is Roxy Shahidi?
The soap star was born in Manchester and began her career as part of Contact Young Actors Company in 2004. She went on to work for Peskar Productions as a drama workshop leader in Oldham and Bolton.
Her theatre credits include East is East and Rafta, Rafta... at the National Theatre. Her only other TV role before Emmerdale, which she joined in 2008, was in BBC comedy-drama Sinchronicity.
Is Roxy Married and does she have children?
Roxy is happily married to a famous actor who viewers will recognise from the likes of BBC cop drama Line of Duty, Channel 4's Ackley Bridge and The Missing but his breakout role was in the film Four Lions, where he played Hassan.
Her husband is of course none other than Arsher Ali and the pair have been married since 2010.
The pair met in 2007 while working on a play in London. Amazingly, Arsher proposed to Roxy just two weeks after meeting her and it's clear that somewhat rash decision paid off as they are still loved up now.
The happy couple tied the knot in 2010. After more than ten years together, the couple welcomed their baby daughter - who is now four into the world in January 2018.
The family of four - if you include their adorable German Shepherd called Kaya, live in Nottingham, where Arsher is from.
Recalling the moment he popped the question, Roxy told the Mirror in 2014: "He just looked me in the eye at a cast party and said, ‘Will you marry me?’ I didn’t answer and he said, ‘You will be my wife’ and that was it. I didn’t quite know what to make of it because I didn’t know him that well."
She added: "I knew that he liked me but we hadn’t really said anything. We hadn’t even kissed! I half wanted to laugh and say, 'That's absolutely ridiculous!', and the other half thought, 'Oooh, kiss me passionately!'”
