Emmerdale star Matthew Wolfenden has unveiled a brand new look after shaving his notorious long blonde locks and he is practically unrecognisable.
The soap star who is much loved for his portrayal of David Metcalfe, has undergone a huge transformation with a little help from his family as his wife and children shaved his head, MEN reports.
Charley Webb, Matthews wife and co-star posted a clip of herself and the couple's three sons shaving Matthew's head as they set up an at home salon for the occasion.

The video which featured the soundtrack of Hair by Little Mix was captioned: "It was a family effort."
A grinning Matthew seemed to be enjoying his pamper session as Charley, 33 and their eldest sons Buster, 11, and Bowie, five set to work on dads transformation.
The youngest of the tribe, two-year-old Ace popped up at the end of the video to give his verdict on his dads fresh trim.
"Do you like it?" Matthew asked as Ace gave the new look the thumbs-up.
Fans and even co-stars have been left stunned by the actors new look.
Co-star Danny Miller who plays Aaron Dingle said: "It genuinely annoys me how many different hairstyles he really suits!"
And Isabel Hodgins who plays character David's love interest Victoria Sugden in the ITV soap said: "I genuinely don’t know if I’m happy or sad!"
"And how are they going to write that into Emmerdale?" wondered one fan.
"Love it," commented another.
"Ooooooh noooooooo I love the longer hair," gasped another fan.
Matthew was recently at the centre of terrifying waterfall scenes in Emmerdale.
The show's much-anticipated upcoming Survival Week featured a waterfall stunt with David and Victoria's lives left hanging in the balance by evil Meena Jutla.
Murderous Meena went on the rampage after she overheard boyfriend David confess his love for his friend Victoria.
