Emmerdale star Lucy Pargeter has opened up about the disturbing ordeal she’s experienced after being bombarded with messages.
Lucy, 44, who plays Chas Dingle in ITV soap Emmerdale, opened up on Twitter about what she’s been subjected to and sought help from fans.
Making a desperate plea on Twitter, Lucy wrote: “Can someone help?

“I’ve been having text messages from someone who doesn’t have my number by consent, and who won’t leave me alone!!!!!”
“What do I do????” she added.
Emmerdale fans quickly replied to Lucy and suggested she block the number.
Musician @taliadean said: “I have been through this and it got really ugly, message me if you haven't had good advice. I’m ok now after getting professional help. Hope you’re ok.”

While @meinirann said: “You need to report them to the police. Call 101, or report online if your local police force offers this service.”
Another @gaiil_lou wrote: “Try and block messages if you can but defo get police involved this person has not been given your number.”
