Emmerdale actor Liam Fox has confirmed his engagement to girlfriend Jo Hudson after popping the question in Paris.
The star - who plays the Dales' Dan Spencer - got down on one knee in the City of Love before sharing his happy news with fans.
"She only went and said yes..." he tweeted alongside a gorgeous shot of the pair hugging while Jo showed off her ring.
His co-star Gaynor Faye (Megan Macey) was one of the first to share her congratulations, after the official account for the soap had tweeted: "Congrats! We're getting our best hat out from the wardrobe."

Michelle Hardwick, who plays vet Vanessa Woodfield in the Yorkshire based soap, wrote: "Woohoooo! Congratulations you lovely pair."
While Sandra Marvin, headteacher Jessie Dingle in Emmerdale, tweeted: "Omg!! Huge congratulations to you both! Amazing news."
Liam had previously appeared in fellow ITV soap, Coronation Street , and was buoyed to be contacted by Sally Ann Matthews, who is known for playing Jenny Connor on the cobbles.

She tweeted: "Amazing news! She’s not daft, knows a keeper when she sees one. Congratulations both! x"
This will be the second marriage for Liam, after he spent 16 years with Hollyoaks star Nicole Barber-Lane.
The couple divorced in 2015 and the pair share two children together.
