The return of an Emmerdale favourite is being teased.
Fans will be delighted to know Joe-Warren Plant, 19, who plays Jacob Gallagher, will soon be back in the ITV soap. He was last seen on our screens in November 2020 when his character was temporarily written out of the show so the actor could compete in Dancing On Ice.
During his time on the ice skating reality TV show, Joe-Warren skated alongside his partner Vanessa Bauer. They competed well and earned an army of fans but their time on the ice was cut short when they tested positive for Covid-19.

At the time, in Emmerdale, it was explained that he was leaving the village to visit his mum Alicia in Portugal. The soap mentioned that Jacob's trip would last for around six months.
His co-star Roxy Shahidi, who plays Leyla Harding, has spoken to Digital Spy about his upcoming return to the ITV soap.

"I think it was awful (the way he exited Dancing On Ice) but I also think he's so talented, that he'll get an opportunity to do something like that again," Roxy said.
"I'm just glad that he's safe, he didn't injure himself, and that he's coming back to work. We're really really looking forward to having him back, he's got such an amazing energy on set – he's so talented."
