Take a look inside Emmerdale star Jonny McPherson’s amazing houseboat which he’s dubbed Benedict.
The actor, 39, has played doctor Liam Cavanagh in Emmerdale since 2014. This week, viewers saw his character pop the question to Leyla Harding - played by Roxy Shahidi.
As is the case in soap operas nothing about the proposal came together in a manner which could be described as plain sailing. On the subject of water, you can take a peek at actor Jonny McPherson’s home on the water.

Our colleagues at The Mirror report the star lives on his narrowboat with his beloved dog Molly. They are regularly visited by a Heron called Keith who comes to visit them where they are moored at Clarence Dock in Leeds.
Fans have been able to take a glimpse inside as Jonny shares photos inside his home.
There’s a cosy kitchen and the classic wood burner. In the bedroom, his rescue dog can often be found nestling up in a pile of blankets on the double bed.
"Found this in my bed this morning. Any takers?" Jonny joked.
Earlier this week, Jonny, appeared on This Morning where he discussed his narrowboat.
"Three-and-a-half years now I've lived on Benedict, which is a 60ft narrowboat."
And of his wildlife companionship, Jonny added: "Keith is a resident heron at the dock where I've got the boat permanently moored now.
"He struts by the window most mornings, peering in at me as if I'm the weird one. He's a lovely fellow."
Fans might know Jonny struck up a romance last year with Emmerdale co-star Natalie J Robb who plays Moira Barton.
